Here we are - year two of There! I Fixed the Movie!

2023 was an amazing year for this blog, and needless to say, in 2024, it'll get even better. Needless to say, the fun is just beginning. This is because I'm introducing two new subseries in the new year, including...

THIS COULD'VE BEEN AVOIDED!

You guys ever see those movies where if one thing changed, the whole story would've never happened? That's this subseries - pointing out how if they took just a step in another direction, the whole thing would've played out way different.

GUYS...IT AIN'T THAT BAD

This will be a little different, as instead of pointing out how films would've gone different, I'm instead analysing the great elements of them. However, my one catch is they have to be movies that the internet, for one reason or another, has declared bad, yet I personally found pretty good.

And there ya go! Sorry there wasn't a proper post this month, but I just wanted to fill you guys in on how things will play out from here on out. One last thing - there will now be two posts uploaded per month, every 11th and 21st, the first being a proper There! I Fixed The Movie! post, whereas the second will be either a This Could've Been Avoided, a Guys...It Ain't THAT Bad, or a There! I Fixed the Movie! Mini. Stay tuned for more!

  I may be the one person at the moment who doesn’t hate Scoob!. Is it a perfect movie? No, that’s why it’s on this blog. But I’ve seen way worse from Warner Animation Group, like The LEGO Ninjago Movie and Tom & Jerry.  It’s not as good as the other LEGO movies or Smallfoot, but I still enjoy it. It’s not even the worst of the Scooby-Doo! franchise, like some of the direct to video movies and especially the Velma series. But when push comes to shove, this movie still has problems. But what are those problems, and how can we fix them? Let’s proceed. I’m gonna start a little differently and start off by rectifying some of the casting. I’m gonna be fair and say that if done right, recasting the Scooby-Doo characters is not necessarily a bad idea. The key to it is finding actors who fit the role. THERE! I FIXED THE MOVIE! - Ice Age: Collision Course

  As of the day this post was released, it was over three years ago that it was announced that Blue Sky Studios would close its doors for good, despite technically living on through Annapurna Animation. And that was a heavy hit, because I grew up with a ton of their movies, such as Robots , Rio ,  The Peanuts Movie , which I still consider my favorite animated film of all time, and of course, Ice Age . However, this studio was not perfect, and I would call their biggest problem the fact that for the longest time, they couldn’t let go of Ice Age , and nowhere did those chickens come home to roost more than with the fifth instalment, Collision Course . I’ll be fair and say this isn’t the worst of the series, but it is the one where I wound up feeling the most franchise fatigue. But, as crazy as it may sound, there is actually a way this might work. THERE! I FIXED THE MOVIE! MINI - Jurassic World: Dominion

  To be honest, I wanted to like the Jurassic World sequels. The first one was a good amount of fun in spite of a weak script, and the trailers for both sequels seemed to be total slam-dunks. But they all fell apart when they came out, and nowhere is that more evident than in Dominion . Out of all the films in the Jurassic Park series, this can be described as the most disappointing, because this should've been such an easy home run for Universal. It promised to be a movie about killer dinosaurs roaming civilisation with the cast of the World movies meeting the cast of the Park movies. But while it wasn't Fallen Kingdom bad, it had some of the dumbest choices that should've been so easy to avoid. How? Well, let's go into it. Going in by the trailer, you'd think this movie would be about dinosaurs rampaging through the world and the heroes trying to contain them, right? Well, no!
